As some of you may know, Hugo is a great sleeper, often going as much as seven hours at a time at night and has recently begun taking naps during the day (a previously unseen phenomenon). To what do I ascribe this somnolent success? There are a few factors, but one of the most obvious is the swaddle. Yes, like the newborn Christ, Hugo enjoys his swaddling clothes. Oh he struggles when we bundle him up, but soon he relaxes (though we do hear the occasional grunt and whinge in the night) and he’s soon off to sleep. Here you see our little man emerging from a restful night of sleep, finally able to stretch those limbs that had been held so securely through the night…
